Ellen Teeter, AP, DOM
Ellen graduated in 1999 from the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in St Petersburg Fl and practiced locally for several years before moving to Destin, FL where she had the opportunity to work and study at the Tortoise Clinic of Chinese Medicine. Tortoise Clinic is one of the largest Chinese herb pharmacies in the United States dispensing more than 3,000 Chinese medicinal prescriptions each year.
As an experienced Acupuncture Physician and Chinese Herbalist she was able to contribute to this bustling clinic while greatly expanding her knowledge of Chinese Medicine. She has successfully utilized her skills to create healing regimens for cases raging from sprained ankles to high blood pressure.
Additionally, Ellen performs Chinese massage, counsels in dietary therapy and teaches the ancient martial art of Tai Chi and Qigong; health preserving exercises.
Ellen enjoys exploring green living with cycling, hiking and canoeing as well as gardening and preparing delicious organic meals.

Renata Strzalkowski, MS
Andrzej’s life partner and Business Director for Alternative Therapy, Renata received her Master’s Degree in Economics in Warsaw, Poland. Accompanying Andrzej to the United States in 1990, she continued her education and was the driving force in establishing Alternative Therapy, Inc. in 2000.
A committed mother, Renata manages her home and career while participating in their two sons’ many school and social activities.
For herself, Renata enjoys tennis, reading and walks on the beach.
A dedicated yoga student, Renata is a consummate hostess and takes pleasure in preparing feasts and socializing with her international circle of friends.
Her gift of listening together with her talent for problem solving blend perfectly with her gentle and willing spirit, blessing friends and patients alike with her special style and grace.
